FHI 360, an international NGO, is recruiting highly qualified and dynamic Nepali citizens for LINKAGES Nepal Project for various positions. LINKAGES Nepal is part of the global LINKAGES Project, USAID and PEPFAR’s flagship project addressing HIV prevention, care and treatment among key populations and people living with HIV. The positions are contingent on funding availability and approval from USAID and PEPFAR.

Positions available:

1. Deputy Project Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters’ degree or its international equivalent in public health, management, social science or other relevant fields.
  • Five to seven years of experience managing large, complex HIV service delivery projects among key populations together with leading the development of technical innovations
  • Solid experience working in a non-governmental organization (NGO) – preferably with a focus on HIV prevention, care, support and treatment service delivery among key populations and PLHIV.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and sustaining positive working relationships and partnerships with NGOs and partners.
  • Proven track record of increasing responsibility to oversee all aspects of USAID-funded projects, including financial, human resource, compliance and quality assurance components.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating annual work plans and directing teams to complete objectives/activities on time within budget while meeting high quality standards.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with a range of stakeholders.
  • Track record in innovation, information and communication technology (ICT) and quality service delivery.
  • Excellent problem solving, program management and implementation skills.

2. Team Leader

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or related field with three years of experience managing and/or implementing HIV prevention, care, support and treatment program or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related field and five to seven years’ of experience in the related field.
  • Proven experience and performance in program development, grant making and grant management with international organization.
  • Ability to travel to the field 20-30 percent of the time
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

3. Technical Specialist

Minimum Requirements:

  • Medical doctor with master’s degree in public health with at least three years’ experience working in public health program implementation/management
  • Strong technical and clinical knowledge and skills
  • Experience in HIV and AIDS program including clinical management of STI and HIV and HTC preferred
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

4. Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a health-related field or business administration with at least five years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management or a bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of related experience in health-related field or business administration is preferred.
  • Pharmacology and/or experience of working in a pharmaceutical company or in government commodities supply chain management will be an asset.
  • Familiarity and experience in health supply chain management in Nepal
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of USAID procurement and contracting regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

5. Laboratory Specialist

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s in medical laboratory technology or medical microbiology with least three years’ experience working in health program implementation/management or Bachelor’s degree with minimum five years of relevant experience
  • Preferred experience in HIV & AIDS field
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

6. Strategic Information Specialist

Minimum Requirements :

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Statistics or Epidemiology or other relevant subject with three years’ minimum work experience or Bachelor Degree in Public Health with five years of work experience in DHIS2, GIS and SI systems including data collection and analysis, Statistics or Epidemiology or other relevant subject
  • Minimum five years of experience on SI systems and online recording and reporting system (DHIS2 will be preferred)
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

7. Program and Documentation Specialist

Minimum Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or Mass Communication with at least three years minimum work experience in program documentation, communication and coordination or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Mass Communication and minimum five years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in I/NGOs and government sector particularly on health or specifically to HIV sector will be an asset
  • Knowledge of designing of promotional social media friendly materials
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

8. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Minimum Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in public health, social science or behavioral science or epidemiology or statistics and at least 3 years related experience or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience in development programming, especially, planning, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience in online and offline reporting system/DHIS2, GIS, data analysis and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

9. Program Officer – 2 positions

Minimum Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in public health or social sciences with at least three years of experience working in health-related program implementation and management or a bachelor’s degree in public health or social sciences with at least five years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the field of HIV and AIDS related services preferred
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

10. Program Associate

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, public health and management or social sciences with minimum three years of work experience in related field  Ability to provide programmatic support and assistance to program staff
  • Ability to provide management, secretarial and administrative support to the assigned unit and teams
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

11. Finance Officer

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in accounting or business management or related field with minimum three years of work experience or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management or related field with minimum of five years of experience
  • Knowledge and experience with accounting and financial system
  • Experience in computerized accounting system
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

12. Administrative Officer

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors’ degree in humanities, business studies or related social science or behavioral sciences with at least three years’ of experience in administrative and/or office procedures/management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with office management systems
  • Ability to work well with project staff, government counterparts, IAs and vendors
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment

13. Grants Officer

Minimum Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in accounting or business management or related field with minimum three years of work experience or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management or related field with minimum five years of experience
  • Knowledge and experience with finance and grant management system
  • Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to PEPFAR and USAID work priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with USAID rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in teams and create collaborative team building environment
