Full Stack Developer Shopify (f/m/d)

Kathmandu, Nepal

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer for our shops powered by Shopify, to join our development team full time. You will join an established small agile product team, working closely with our engineers, product owner, designer, and QA. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new consumer facing and backend features. You will have the opportunity to shape our team and engineering processes.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain the Plantura shops
• Write clean and maintainable code
• Define the architecture of our shops
• Build pixel-perfect, smooth, and responsive UIs
• Build internal tools to automate tasks and make everyone’s lives easier
• Diagnose and fix bugs
• Be ready to learn and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Take up end to end ownership of your results

Requirements

• Passionate about building maintainable and user-friendly products
• > 3 years of experience working as a full stack developer in an e-commerce company using Shopify
• Experience writing clean, testable, and well documented HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid code
• Experience with cross-browser and device testing
• Experience building Shopify apps
• Experience in backend technologies like node.js is a plus
• Having worked in a remote environment before is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of software design principles
• English working proficiency with strong communication skills
