Finance Coordinator
in Kathmandu
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Lalitpur, Nepal. The position is paid according to paygrade.
The Finance Coordinator supports the efficient and effective financial management of the WHH Projects and will ensure the timely completion of financial reporting obligations as stated in the donor agreement.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure effective financial monitoring of the projects in compliance with Donor and WHH regualtions.
- Contribute to the development of the project proposals regarding budgeting in cooperation with the program staff
- Assessment of new and ongoing partners
- Maintain accurate records of all project’s financial transactions, costs, and salary refinancing to projects
- Support in preparation of budget amendments, interim and final reports to the donors
- Handle Projects audits and SWC audits
- Support in developing finance templates and guidelines, and provide finance training to partners on WHH/Donor regulations
Your profile
- Master’s degree in finance or accounting, a minimum of five years of experience in an international Non-governmental organization
