Job Description
Responsibilities:
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate code changes, perform builds, and deploy applications.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling.
Cloud Services:
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Set up and configure monitoring tools for applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to improve overall release and deployment processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for various tasks, including configuration management and deployment.
- Identify opportunities for further automation to improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide support for production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
Required Skills
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Redhat, etc).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of server less computing.
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
Other Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and build tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
