Summary: The U.S. Mission in Kathmandu, Nepal is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Customer Service Representative (Customer Support Services Clerk). This position is open to all interested applicants.

The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week).

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties

The incumbent works under the supervision of General Services Office Coordinator and is responsible for providing varied administrative and logistical support services to all the personnel in the U.S. Mission. The incumbent serves as one of the primary point of contact (POC) for reservations, maintenance, and upkeep of the conference rooms throughout the Mission. The incumbent provides support services to employees within the General Services Office (GSO) with regards to travel requirements and assists mission personnel with lodging for in-country travel. The incumbent also works as sub-cashier and timekeeper for the GSO.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of work experience in Customer Service is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary Education is required.

LANGUAGE: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English is required. Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing Nepali is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to work under pressure is required. Ability to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
