MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT:

Senior Officer Level

Master’s Degree in the field of Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of total working experience in the Hydropower sector. Additionally, Candidate should have 2 years of working experience specifically in the field of Hydropower Financing within an “A” Class commercial Bank

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of total working experience in the Hydropower sector. Additionally, Candidate should have 2 years of working experience specifically in the field of Hydropower Financing within an “A” Class commercial Bank

Officer Level

Master’s Degree in the field of Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of total working experience in the Hydropower sector. However, preference shall be given to candidates having experience in “A” Class commercial Bank

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of total working experience in the Hydropower sector. However, preference shall be given to candidates having experience in “A” Class commercial Bank

JOB PROFILE:

• Evaluate and assess feasibility studies, technical reports, and project proposals related to hydropower projects
• Conduct on-site visits to hydropower project sites to assess the project’s progress, technical aspects, and adherence to established guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project risks, costs, and benefits to ensure sound financial decisions
• Review engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical expertise and insights during the due diligence process for potential hydropower financing clients
• Participate in the negotiation and structuring of financing terms, collateral requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor ongoing hydropower projects to ensure timely completion and compliance with the terms of financing agreements
• Work closely with clients, project managers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate seamless project execution
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting hydropower projects and financing

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Strong understanding and work experience of hydropower project in development, construction, operation phase and financing processes in A Class Commercial Bank
• Proficiency in evaluating technical documentation, feasibility studies, and engineering reports
• Familiar with financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit evaluation related to infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make informed decisions under time constraints
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental considerations
