Position Summary
Sr. IT Officer/Assistant IT Manager’s primary focus must be in the areas of operations and data management. S/He must perform a variety of moderately complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth operation of organization by providing quality of technology services. S/He monitors, operates, or coordinates and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results. S/He utilizes computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of end user assistance, production job processing, equipment maintenance and repair and computer operations assignments. Requires minimum supervision and may act as lead when the need arises. Updates supervisor on status of projects or technical issues.

Job Description

  1. Administers all servers are in operation and accessible.
  2. Provides assistance to subordinates to successful completion of jobs.
  3. Ensures configuration of desktop computers, peripherals and accounts assigning security level are met.
  4. Tests software programs for feasibility and reliability.
  5. Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate;
  6. Administers user accounts.
  7. Designs and produces basic reports.
  8. Design New Network and instruct for PABX setups for new branch.
  9. Sets up and submits production jobs and edits and debugs computer output.
  10. Transfers Asset to branches according to need.
  11. Provides basic installation, configuration and support for Routing and Switching systems.
  12. Acts as a end-user liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns.
  13. Arranges for distribution of output to end-user.
  14. Handle Solutions to networking withing Branches, Corporate Office and Head Office.
