Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) is a non-government & nonprofit managing autonomous representative organization of the Kaski District business community founded to protect the community’s rights and interests established in 1954. PCCI has been working with marginalized children and young people in the areas of protec- tion, development, and participation. As well as working with the employers, employer’s associations, parents and other stakeholders for the protection and promotion of their rights since 1999 in Pokhara Metropolitan City.
PCCI is seeking to recruit qualified, socially conscience and motivated individuals for the following positions for livelihood and education projects.
POSITION: Project Supervisor- 1 (Based in Pokhara)
Role’s summary:
Work to increase the quality and effectiveness of training and employment support for young people and families by developing and defining improved modalities for transition to positive livelihoods. Coordination with schools and municipalities as well as support in planning and identification of out-of-school children and facilitates school enrollment.
Education, Experiences and Skills:
- At Least intermediate level.
- 3 years of working experience with marginalized children, and communities in the sector of livelihood and education.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and related computer applications.
- Excellent written and oral skills in both English and Nepali.
- Good communication skills.
