Nepalese Ultra Poor Marginalized and Biodiversity Organization Nepal (NELUMBO NEPAL) is a non- government organization working in the field of Health, Education and Environment in Gandaki Province of Nepal.

NELUMBO, NEPAL have a well-managed and equipped Mobile Dental facility in a van with a wide range of Oral Health and Dental Care, Full Treatment Service, Training to local Health personnel and Awareness programs. The organization operates its activities in both the community and government schools, based on its values and target groups. NELUMBO NEPAL is looking for a qualified and well-motivated Nepali citizen for the following post:

Post Title: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Purpose of the Job:
The job holder of this post will be responsible for supporting and delivering high-standard care to the poorest and marginalized community. The job holder will be responsible for efficient clinical, training and awareness activities regarding Oral Health and Dental Care in the field for 3-5 days or more, twice a month. The job holder will also be responsible for community oral health management, and planning. The post will include staff support, and supervision of Oral Health and Dental Care, ensuring proper implementation of NELUMBO, NEPAL policies and procedures. The job holder is also responsible for reports and proposal writing for the Oral Health and Dental Care project. Networking and coordination with the Program Coordinator, and other related personnel for program planning and execution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery
  • At least 1 year of Clinical and Community Services Management experience.
  • High-level knowledge to use basic and advanced systems of Oral Health and Dental care.
  • Highly interested in teaching local health personnel, the community, and the students about Oral Health and Dental Care.
  • High motivation to work in community-based activities.
  • Good written and spoken Nepali and English
