JOB OPPORTUNITY
Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a project of United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (UMN MDT), working in communities for the health, education, and self-reliance of those living in poverty in Nepal, carrying out other social service work for the public good.
It is a 50-bed general hospital east of Kathmandu providing quality and affordable healthcare to the people of Okhaldhunga and surrounding districts.
The hospital has been running a Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project in Okhaldhunga since 2020 whose goal is to transform Okhaldhunga into a disability-inclusive society, and a mental health project for both hospital and community since 2022. Both projects are expected to continue for many years to come.
OCH is pleased to announce the following position:
Hospital Physiotherapy Officer
Required No: 1
Main Role: Day-to-day responsibility for physiotherapy services and treatment of inpatients, outpatients and rehabilitation.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognised university with Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) registration.
Preferred Experiences:
– Neurological Rehabilitation experience.
– 2 or more years’ broad exposure to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
Grade Level: 8. Probation for first 6 months on grade level 7.
Salary and benefits are according to OCH standards.
