EU – Nepal Practical Partnership for Technical Vocational Education and Training Reform (TVET PP) is a four- year European Union funded project to support Government of Nepal (GoN) and Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to support TVET sector reform in Nepal. The specific objective of the project is to strengthen and implement more effectively a TVET policy responsive to labour market needs and pilot an integrated Public Private Partnership (PPP) approach in three key economic sectors: i)agriculture, ii)construction, and iii)tourism. This will be achived through project interventions to improve quality of TVET provision and implementation; piloting of innovative PPP approaches to enhance the relevance, quality and sustainability of TVET; and supporting GoN to enchance its capacity and role in TVET system and TVET goverance.

Position Title: Deputy Team Leader/ TVET Policy Specialist

(4 Years full-time) The post will assist the Team Leader for delivery of technical outputs and results of the project.

Requirements:A senior TVET expert who must have:

  • A University degree in related field.
  • Over 10 years’ experience of working on developing and implementing TVET policy.
  • Experience of donor funded projects (preferably EU funded) in TVET.
  • Experience in a leading position in related project. The DTL should be well versed with technical expertise in TVET including on partnership approaches for employer engagement.

Position Title: Driver

(4 Years full-time) The post will drive and maintain project vehicle and provide secretarial support.


  • Over 5 years of driving experience – at least 2 years of driving 4WD vehicle and at least 2 years in an international organization / project.
  • Skills to understand and communicate well in English.
