Now NFDF is conducting the typhoid research project with collaboration Oxford University Clinical Research Unit-Vietnam (OUCRU-VN), OUCRU-NP and. Job Title: Counsellor – 30 (one)

Brief Job Description

Perform counselling to the study participants, provide the proper information about Vaccination and study process, provide the proper information about the program and encourage to participate in the study, coordinate with Field Coordinator, and Vaccine facilitator for effective recording, counselling log of participants, support Communication team for developing FAQ of program and activities including issue of community people.

Qualification and Experiences:

  • Bachelor degree on social science, or health sciences or relevant discipline. Two-year experience in health related research and developmental activities especially on individual and group counselling, excellent communication skills, including a good command of spoken and written English, Nepali. Preferably good command in Newari.


Job Title: Paramedic – 30 (Thirty)

Brief Job Description

Physical examination of participant as per the study Guideline , monitor the adverse effect and complication during and after the vaccination , Provide the proper information of vaccination, Ensure all the information is collected correctly Coordinate and support filed work as per needed

Qualification and Experiences:

  • Health Assistant (HA), CMA; minimum 2 years of experiences for CMA and 6 months HA on providing basic health care services;
  • Excellent medical and health care skills especially children and adolescent; Valid council registration certificate


Job Title: Vaccine Facilitator – 60 (Sixty)

Brief Job Description

Take consent from the study participant/s and collect information, provide the proper information about vaccine, ensure all the information is collected correctly, vaccinate the selected study participant/s and phlebotomy in children as per the study guideline, follow the instruction of Field coordinator, ensure all the information is collected correctly.

Qualification and Experiences:

  • Auxiliary Nurse mid-wife (ANM), CMA, Staff Nurse or relevant discipline, previous experience/s of vaccination and vaccine facilitation, excellent leadership and communication skills, strong interpersonal and team-work skills, including a good command of spoken and written English, Nepali. Preferably good command in Newari.
